Account - You can create a free account

Account type - There are several types of accounts: director, guru, musician, partner, politician and YouTuber.

Active Sharing - Active sharing allows you to see who else is watching a video at the same time, or explore users' recent histories.

Address Book - You can keep a contact list of your friends to send them private messages and share videos easily.

Avatar / Channel Icon - You can use the thumbnail of any of your public videos as your avatar.

Buffering - The video player downloads a video as it plays. A buffer allows it to play more smoothly if the connection isn't fast enough.

Bulletin - A message posted on a user's channel and sent out to all of that user's friends.

Category - A video can belong to one of several topic areas which are called categories.

Categories Tab - At the top of most pages. Displays featured videos by category.

Channel - A channel is a user's page. It contains a user's profile information, videos, favourites, etc.

Channels Tab - At the top of most pages. Top list for channels, by account type.

Comment - A text response to a video (on a watch page) or a user (on a channel page).

Community Tab - Here you can browse groups and contests.

Contest - Users can submit videos to contests and other users can vote on them.

Design (channel) - You can customise the appearance of your channel page.
